My New HairStyle

DADDY WANTS TO SHAVE MY HEAD TODAY!!!

Daddy, Mummy and Nai Nai brought me to a shop @ Punggol Plaza to shave my head today. Actually Mummy was quite worried that I will look funny with bald head but surprizingly, I looked handsome....

1/4 of my hair shaved. I looked scared and started to frown.
1/2 of my hair gone. Still performing well.
3/4 of my hair gone.. Nai Nai distract me with toys..
Too distracted by those colourful toysss.... Look at my finger.. Haha..
It's all gone.. sob sob... But why is Mummy so happy?!?!

From Morning till Night..

Mummy and Daddy brought me to Sentosa on a rainy Sunday morning, 16th Sep 07 for a charity run call RUN FOR HOPE. This is my 1st time to Sentosa and my 1st time to a beach. I wasn't quite excited about it. Maybe it is because the weather is too cold and there are too many 'strangers' around. After Sentosa, Mummy and Daddy brought me to a trial class at Baby Jumper Gym. The activites there are flashing cards and gym. I quite enjoy the flash cards cos it looks interesting and I performed pretty well. As for the gym, I actually cried.. Hehe... I think this is the 1st time I am exposed to such 'vigorous' swinging OR is time for my milk?? In the evening, Mummy and Daddy brought me to Uncle Kenny and Aunty Ivy wedding dinner. Many uncles and aunties were there including my San Shu and San Shen. They commented that I was very cute and I look alot like Mummy. hehe...

We ended our day at 11pm at night.. Very tiring!!

I am 5 Months Old!!

Mummy and Daddy brought me for my last 6-in-1 jab on 17th Sep 07 and that will mean that I am 5mths old. Guess what is my weight and height now? I hv grew merely 1cm in a month which is only 67cm and my weight is 8.35kg. Dr. Tan did some assessment on me. Everything is ok except that I am still not able to roll over and sit to by myself more than 5sec. Daddy and Mummy are very concern about it and I guess I will expect alot of 'exercise' from them.

Long waited UPdates

This was taken on 9th August 07 when i was 4mths old. I weigh 7.8kg and was 66cm tall.

This was taken on 7th July 2007 when I was 3mths old. I weigh 6.57kg and was 61.5cm tall.

Vaccination Day :(

I am exactly 2months old today and it will mean that I have to go for my 6 in 1 vaccine. Dr. Tan took my weight and measured my height. I weigh 5.18kg and was 59cm tall. Dr.Tan commented that I was abit below average for my weight and was ABOVE average for my height.. Does it mean that I will be a tall boy?? Hehe..

Btw, I was given 2 vaccines. One for the 6in1 and one for the pneumococcal disease. It was quite a scary and painful experience. Of course, it was superply painful.. (Btw, POPO don't dare to stay in the room. I guess she felt heartache for me). When Dr. Tan injected for me, I gave out a loud cry.. I think it should be quite loud cos POPO said she can heard it clearly outside the room.. Haha..

This is my 1ST picture with Daddy and Mummy. This was taken in Mummy's ward in TMC on 9th April 2007. Only 1day old, already know how to HI FIVE.. hehe!!

I am OUT!!

I hv reported to this beautiful world weighing 3.07kg and 49cm tall @ 37wks on a beautiful sunday evening 7.02pm, 8th April 2007.

Mummy found herself having 'show' when she woke up at 6am to the toilet. Mummy woke Daddy up and she quickly took a quick shower (dunno why she forgot to wash her hair) and went straight to the TMC.

At 7am, they were there and they put Mummy into the observation room. The midwife did a check on Mummy and told her that she was less than 1cm dilated.

Then they asked Mummy to wait @ the delivery room and put her on drip to help the cervix dilate faster. By then, Mummy can feel a bit of contraction coming in.

Since this is quite an 'impromptu' situation, Daddy got to leave Mummy behind for a while and settle his work related issue.

Mummy waited and waited patiently for the dilation to reach 10cm and the contraction is getting more and more frequent. Finally, Daddy was back!! He brought back Mummy's favourite CoffeeBean Ulitmate ice blend and brownies. Yummy!!

Mummy and Daddy is still waiting and the contraction was quite unbearable for Mummy. She almost gave up and ask for Epidural..

Finally, Dr Woo appeared. Mummy was glad to see him as this imply that I am ready to come out.

7.02pm: I was finally out after 3 pushes. Hehe... What an exciting 10hrs journey.

Wow!! I am a BIG BaBY

Mummy went for the routine checkup today. Guess what? I have gained 600g in merely 2wks.. I am now 2.4kg at 36wks. Even Dr. Woo was laughing and commented, IT'S a BIG Baby. Hehe.. But of course, Mummy and Daddy was very happy that I was growing very healthly. They are getting excited and are waiting anxiously for my arrival on 28th April 2007!!

More things for ME @ BB Fair

Mummy and Daddy went to the BB Fair @ Suntec for the intention of 'see see look look' but end up spending $300+ on a Combi high chair and BB cot latex matteress.. hehe.. they were quite amazed on the high chair as it was full of functions that can be converted into a rocker to a high chair. It seems very useful and the most important thing is it can last for long.

Yesterday, Mummy was on leave and went to another BB Fair @ Taka with 婆婆. This time round, they bought many many things for me and almost shop till they dropped.. Haha.. They bought Avent bottles, Pigeon sterilizer for my bottles and toys, clothes, hats, mitten & booties, my bolsters, a Disney musical cot mobile and many many more... But Mummy was wondering did she missed out anything??

Finally more than 1kg

Mummy went for gynae appointment on the 13th Feb 2007. I am in a very healthy condition and now weighs about 1.4kg at my 29th weeks.. Wow.. Have gained around 600g within a month. And what about Mummy's weight gain?? It's 3KG!!!! She got a shocked cos this is really a rapid weight gain for her.. But people told her its quite normal to put on more during the 3rd trimester. Anyway, as long as I am healthy, Mummy and Daddy will be happy..

Child Development Programme - The Shichida Method

Daddy and Mummy attended the preview on The Shichida Method - a child development programme this morning.. And guess WAT! Mummy is the only pregnant lady in the talk.. Hehe.. KS hor.. But anyway, they are already planning for my educational path and are quite anxious about it. After listening to the talk, both of them think that it is really very important to build strong foundation in the child during their early stage rather than stressing and forcing them to learn later. Therefore, Daddy has agreed to go ahead and enrol me to the class when I reaches 3mths old (although the course fee is quite expensive). Mummy is glad that Daddy share the same mindset and supported her.

Choosing my name..

Daddy and Mummy has started thinking names for me. They wanna to choose a nice and meaningful one cos they feels that names will have great linkages of how a person will grown up to be. Daddy has shortlisted a few and he quite like Zephyr or Zypher. It means strong wind. To be strong, natural and carefree as wind. As for chinese names, he has shortlisted 彦枫 but we will still have to let the master 'calculate' base on my DOB and TOB to see whether it matches.

I am Getting Heavier..

Wow!! I am getting heavier.. From the last scan till now, I have gained 348g within a month and I am weighing 767g at 24wks. Dr. Woo says we should be around 600 - 700g at this stage so my weight is quite normal. Like wise, Mummy has grown heavier too... In total she has gained 5kg but luckily, she still don't look clumsy.. Hehe..
